About Imlay City Christian Reformed Church
Who we are
We’re a faith community that is part of the Christian Reformed Church of North America. We subscribe to the ecumenical creeds of the historic Christian faith and the historic confessions of the Reformed Church.
-
We are Christian because we have committed ourselves to following Jesus, we trust in him for our salvation, and we gratefully serve him as Lord.
-
We are Reformed because we are part of that historic branch of the Christian church that follows the teachings of 16th-century reformer John Calvin, who worked to return Christianity to its biblical roots.
-
We are Ecumenical because we believe that the Church is people and not walls. We welcome and desire to partner in all God’s work with other traditions in the name of Jesus.

History and vision
Imlay City Christian Reformed Church first opened its doors in 1928. Since that time, we have tried to be a faithful ministry, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our community.
In 2022 we embarked upon a journey of renewal, revitalization, and visioning—resulting in identifying our core values.
-
We focus on the people of God as a whole, as well as providing ministries to serve every family member.
-
We prioritize spending time together as a gathered people of God, in both worship and social situations.
-
We grow, deepen, and strengthen the faith of God’s people through education and discipleship.
